‘Perimenopause & Menopause: Understanding Your Changing Body‘
With Lenka Sobotkova, Pilates Teacher specialising
in Women’s Health & Fascia-Focused Movement

Sunday 22nd November, 2:00-4:00pm
Pilates Evolved, Henfield

Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes to both our physical and emotional wellbeing — but understanding what’s happening, and learning how we can support ourselves through this transition, can make a real difference to how we experience it.

You might be wondering:

  • What would be helpful to know about perimenopause and menopause before I get there?
  • Why does my body — or even the way I feel in myself — seem to be changing?
  • How can movement and exercise support me through this stage of life?
  • What practical things can I do to feel stronger, more comfortable and more confident in my body?

Whether this transition is still ahead of you, you’re right in the middle of it, or you’re looking to better understand the changes you’ve already experienced, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, explore and ask questions.

Book now – small group workshop — just 9 places available for 22nd November

What we’ll explore:

Understanding the transition

A clearer understanding of perimenopause and menopause, what’s happening hormonally and how these changes can affect our everyday lives.

Your changing body & mind

Exploring some of the physical and emotional changes that can arise, and how greater awareness can help us respond to them with confidence and compassion.

Movement through menopause

How Pilates, mindful movement and fascia-focused exercises can support strength, mobility, comfort and wellbeing throughout this stage of life.

Practical tools for everyday life

Simple, accessible ways to support your body and wellbeing, with ideas you can take away and incorporate into your daily routine.

Conversation without judgement

An opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and feel part of an open, supportive conversation.

What to expect:

This is not two hours of sitting and listening!

Led by Lenka, this relaxed and informative 2 hour workshop will combine accessible information, gentle movement and practical guidance, with time for questions and discussion.

You don’t need any previous Pilates experience to take part, and all movement will be adaptable to suit individual needs.

Our hope is that you’ll leave feeling better informed, reassured and more confident in understanding and supporting your changing body.
