1:1 Pilates

We offer 1:1 and 2:1 Pilates sessions, from our tranquil and fully equipped West Sussex studios.

Within these Pilates equipment sessions, you can expect a bespoke, tailor made program that is purely designed for your body.

Private lessons, by their very nature, enable us to fully focus on individual needs, to achieve significant results, and are ideal for those who prefer to hone in on their own goals, whether it be improved posture, reduced stiffness, or more specific injury rehabilitation or addressing movement imbalances. 

1:1 Pilates

A range of Pilates apparatus is used within our 1:1 and 2:1 Pilates sessions, including the Pilates Reformer, the Tower and Wunda Chair. Originally invented by Joseph Pilates, the Pilates equipment uses springs, straps, pulleys and pedals, to add resistance, challenge, or support to the movements we execute. The equipment, and small apparatus, add a deeper dimension to our practice by demanding greater control and precision of our movements.

The beauty of training on the Pilates equipment, is the opportunity it offers us, to meet the needs of each and every individual client. We continually adjust and modify the spring settings, the resistance, and our use of breathing patterns, to intuitively guide the individual in front of us, toward more efficient movement patterns. This also means that Pilates equipment sessions are absolutely ideal for those with specific needs, including pre or post natal care, sports performance, or post-operative rehabilitation.
